This five-minute interview - Tom's time was precious - was recorded at a Longleat convention, in 1997 or 98. My total block on people's names kicks in right at the start, when I cannot remember the name Andrew Duncan, of the Radio Times' star interviewer. Great. Afterwards, you can hear my frustration at Baker drifting off-topic, yet I cannot help chuckling and delighting in his every word. What a chap.
At the same event I interviewed both the Brigadier and JN-T - if anyone's interested, and I can find the tape, I may add them to this page also.
